About Catalina

A neighbourhood cafe, bar and gathering place in Hobsonville, since 2010.

We take our name from the Catalina flying boats the Royal New Zealand Air Force flew from Hobsonville. Our home is a 1938 RNZAF signals building, with its high-stud ceiling, sash windows and native timber floors, beside the liquid amber pathway and the phoenix palms.

Warmth, integrity, connection: a place where locals meet, share and celebrate.
